Job Summary: The Warehouse Manager oversees the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. Responsible for ensuring productivity targets are met and maintaining workplace health and safety standards. The Warehouse Manager also manages the warehouse staff, coordinates logistics, and ensures inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement operational policies and procedures.
- Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
- Ensure the security of the warehouse.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Conduct regular inventory audits.
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage systems.
- Implement and manage stock control systems to ensure inventory accuracy.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise staff.
- Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and transport companies as required.
Logistics Coordination:
- Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.
- Direct, optimize, and coordinate full order cycle.
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
Qualifactions:
- Fluency in German & English
- 5 years of Management experience in an international business.
- experienced in the SAP/ERP systems.
