Job Description
Location: Hybrid- San Francisco, CA OR Remote
The Supply Chain Product Planner is responsible for managing the mid- and long-term Supply Plans for manufacturing and packaging of finished goods, utilizing a network of internal and external suppliers to ensure product availability and optimal inventory levels. The planner role will have the ability to shape the supply planning organization as we prepare for launch. Responsibilities will include establishing a monthly planning cycle, establishing, and reporting on metrics, and being the point person for all supply planning activities. The ideal candidate will be an experienced product planner looking to establish planning systems and create new processes at Revance.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Ensure product launch readiness and inventory for customers globally
- Responsible for mid and long-range product plans (production, distribution, raw materials)
- Develop supply plans to align manufacturing capacity with sales demand, while working to optimize inventory levels
- Monitor demand forecast changes and recommend supply actions as needed
- Develop monthly planning cycle in coordination with demand planner and site planner
- Recommends strategic inventory levels of drug product and finished goods. Manages E2E inventory to ensure optimal service levels are met without stockouts
- Review & establish a planning data for ERP planning - safety stock, lot size, and lead time
- Develop process and reporting to monitor potential product scrap/stock out risks
- Responsible for product variation plans (change controls & regulatory compliance)
- Build relationships with CMO & Partnership Supply where applicable
- Develop and drive company-wide supply chain metrics
- Review and maintain Standard Operating Procedures linked to Planning
Minimum Required
Experience
- Min 5-8 years of prior relevant experience in Supply Chain operations
- Thorough understanding of supply/demand planning
- Experience in S&OP process development is desired
- Deep understanding / knowledge in Supply Chain Systems and Master Data
- Experience operating MRP/ERP systems (D365)
- Experience in pharmaceutical operations/GMP environment highly desirable
