We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our client's supply chain operations across the Benelux region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management with a proven track record of improving efficiency, reducing costs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and enhancing customer care.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
- Forecast demand and plan inventory to ensure optimal levels of stock.
Operations Management:
- Oversee procurement, production planning, logistics, and distribution within the Benelux region.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and finished products.
Supplier Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure cost-effective deals.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and implement systems to minimize excess and obsolete stock.
- Ensure accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits.
Customer Care:
- Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction through efficient supply chain processes.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve supply-related issues promptly.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain and customer care teams.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Cost Management:
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and service levels.
Digitalization and Automation:
- Drive digitalization and automation initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Implement and leverage supply chain management software and tools.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Sales, and Finance.
- Ensure alignment of supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Experience with ERP systems and supply chain management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with digitalization and automation technologies in supply chain management.
