Position Summary
A multi-billion dollar building materials corporation is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst in Douglasville, GA to drive their supply chain processes. This role demands an in-depth comprehension of upstream and downstream business operations and a keen understanding of customer needs. The ideal candidate will lead transformative change by applying foundational theories, principles, and concepts of supply chain and distribution.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and communicate value stream and supply chain capacity and limitations effectively.
- Take ownership of root cause analysis and facilitate the implementation of corrective measures.
- Foster collaboration among internal and external stakeholders, including supervisors, warehouse associates, and enterprise planners.
- Act as a representative of the supply chain/logistics function in various improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent experience, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Engineering
- Proficiency in supply chain technologies such as ERP and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Experience in data analysis and statistical methods.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, ERP systems, and reporting tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with lean methodologies including pull systems, PDCA, value stream mapping, and 5 Whys preferred.
- Experience with software systems such as SAP, BAAN, Power BI, Tableau, Minitab, AutoCAD, Inventor, and Python preferred.
