DSJ Global is currently partnered with a Industry Leading Building Materials company seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager. This role will be responsible for leading and optimizing maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation in the manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians and engineers to effectively maintain and optimize manufacturing equipment and facilities.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
- Utilize strong mechanical and electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and innovation.
- Oversee inventory management processes to ensure adequate spare parts availability while optimizing inventory levels.
- Manage capital expenditure budgets and prioritize investments in maintenance and facility upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards operational excellence.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with experience in troubleshooting industrial equipment.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing preventive maintenance programs.
- Track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce costs.
- Proficiency in inventory management principles and experience in controlling inventory levels.
- Solid understanding of capital expenditure management and budgetary control.
