Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Portfolio Management: Develop and manage the customer portfolio, including handling sales, price management, quotes, complaints, and relationships.
- Client Engagement: Visit customers regularly, provide detailed reports, and participate in trade shows to represent the company.
- Market Analysis: Conduct specialised price studies and identify customer needs, performing a benchmark of competitors.
- Network Development: Develop and grow the network to increase turnover, including creating new accounts, new services, and conducting market studies.
- Budget and Performance Management: Oversee the budget, monitor turnover evolution, and ensure the follow-up of recovery actions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a regional sales position within the logistics industry, with a focus on overland transportation.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong network connections in the maritime container industry.
- Language Skills: Fluency in German and English is required. Additional European languages are a bonus.
- Commercial Management: Proven experience in commercial management within the logistics sector.
