Responsibilities:
- Ensuring execution of the plant's Quality Management System to attain & maintain GSFI standard for packaging and ISO 9001:2015
- Manage materials and customer claims and resulting corrective/preventative actions
- Serve as key facility interface with Sales Department on Customer issues
- Manage QMS improvements with plant leadership and provide direction based on CAPA/trend analysis
- Manage internal quality programs, including calibration, GMP, food safety, HACCP, pest control, and audit processes
- Prepare & update QMS related testing and training with training administrator
- Work with Operations Manager to lead Quality Management System and ensure continued improvement
- Collaborate with Quality Managers at other sites to ensure best practices
- Knowledge of ISO/QS standard
- Lead plant Quality Assurance department
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management/assurance in a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of supervisory experience with a minimum team size of 10-12 people
- In-depth knowledge of Lean Six Sigma
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Detail oriented and ability to be self-motivated
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high demand, team oriented, and fast-paced environment
- Working creatively in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
