Job Description:
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities within the Automotive sector. You will ensure that all purchases meet quality standards while achieving cost-effective solutions through effective supplier management.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of success in project buying
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Developing sourcing strategies based on market analysis.
* Managing contracts with suppliers by negotiating prices, terms, delivery timescales etc.
* Ensuring timely deliveries from vendors whilst complying with company procedures
* Monitoring performance levels of existing supply base
