Responsibilities:
- Foster trust, goal orientation, and self-direction among production supervisors and staff.
- Optimize staffing levels for peak performance.
- Formulate and lead teams to enhance equipment reliability, reduce setup time, and improve throughput and yield.
- Implement process improvements to prevent defects and yield loss, utilizing lean principles.
- Drive improvement projects from inception to realization, presenting results to management.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on employee performance, administering progressive discipline when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and handle labor grievances professionally.
- Oversee training programs and identify additional training needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum five years of production management experience in food processing.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and computer literacy.
