Our client, one of Europe's leading manufacturing companies, and is seeking an experienced procurement excellence manager to join their team. As a Procurement Excellence Manager, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring whilst streamlining the procurement processes.
Location: Remote/Hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative strategies that streamline procurement processes.
- Manage all aspects of direct/indirect materials purchasing including supplier selection & development.
- Identify new sourcing opportunities that drive cost savings across multiple categories such as Raw Materials or Packaging Supplies.
-Mentor and develop junior staff within the department in order to build capacity through training programs designed specifically around industry best practices.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- 5+ year's experience working in large scale manufacturing environments with expertise in Directs (Raw Material) Purchasing.
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Identify new sourcing opportunities that drive cost savings across multiple categories such as Raw Materials or Packaging Supplies.
