The Process Engineer will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with the engineering team to design fluid blending, storage, and handling systems that satisfy specific requirements of safety, quality, efficiency, and new business development.
- Participating in and managing projects that support company expansion and cost reduction initiatives.
- Identifying and developing opportunities to reduce costs and increase productivity while maintaining quality.
- Demonstrating solid understanding of mechanical engineering concepts including fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and machine design.
- Applying engineering principles and creativity to develop multiple practical solutions to technical challenges.
- Demonstrating regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location. Travel up to 25% of the time.
The Process Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years related experience in a process industry (chemical or petroleum preferred), or any satisfactory combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above duties.
- Preferred experience with Fluid Dynamics
- Communication and Project Management skills
- AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD Inventor (preferred)
