Principal Engineer (Grand Rapids Metropolitan Area, MI)
A renowned manufacturing company is looking for an accomplished Chemical Engineer/Chemist with a strong background in adhesives and coatings. In this role, you will lead chemical product development and project execution efforts, working on a vast range of adhesives products.
The Principal Engineer will:
- Design and oversee the development of adhesive and coating products
- Formulate new adhesive and coatings to meet various customer needs
- Spearhead the research and development of new and/or existing products, projects, and processes
- Develop test programs focused on maximizing product performance based on a wide range of exposures
The Principal Engineer should possess:
- 15+ years of adhesives/coatings experience
- BS in either Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field (MS or PhD preferred)
- Prior experience working with products for building materials applications
The Principal Engineer should expect:
- Base salary between $110,000 - $140,000
- Quarterly profit sharing bonus
