Plant Manager
Tampa, Florida
The Plant Manager will be responsible for the overall manufacturing operations within the business to include:
- Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Assembly, and Distribution of all products
- Directly, and through delegation, manages activities required to assure optimum safety compliance, field/shop/office efficiency, reliability, and quality in accordance with established contracts, agreements, policies and applicable regulatory laws and procedures
- Significantly reduce direct costs, improve quality, and shrink inventory
- Interact and coordinate cross-functionally across the enterprise to ensure quality communication and efficiency
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight and management of manufacturing projects, personnel, and site operations
- Drive results meeting Annual Operating Plan budgets and demand
- Develop and drive hands on safety culture
- Help shape a company culture centered around continuous improvement in the pursuit of Operational Excellence
- Build and maintain the foundation for continuous improvement by ensuring the effective functioning of transformation activities aligned to a Lean Operating System
- Put metrics in place that have a positive impact on the organization that drives improvements and accountability Create strategic plans to support the long-term profitable growth of the business
- Manage plant assets associated with improving cost, quality, delivery, and productivity
- Deploy plant processes and systems to ensure world class manufacturing processes are achieved
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or Business Management
- 5-7 years of leadership experience in a site or plant manufacturing environment
- Strong track record of successfully running and leading projects within a consumer goods organization
- Strong working knowledge of quality systems
- Six Sigma certification is preferred
