A leading Chemical Production firm is currently seeking an experienced and driven Plant Manager to join their team in their state of the art facility in the Houston, TX area. As a member of this dynamic organization, you will have the opportunity to work with leading professionals while ensuring that all activities are executed efficiently and effectively.
The Plant Manager will have the following skillset:
- 10+ years manufacturing experience in a heavily regulated manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar technical field
- Specialty chemical manufacturing experience
- GMP or cGMP manufacturing experience a plus
- LEAN/Six Sigma Certifications preferred
- Functional knowledge of 5s, TPM and similar LEAN principles
- Experience with preventative/predictive maintenance programs
The Plant Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Lead all plant activities
- Responsible for safety of 30 people
- Ensure EH&S compliance
- Develop, implement and uphold operational KPIs
- Strengthen continuous improvement process
- Utilize LEAN principles
