Overview: As a Packaging Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in our commitment to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical products. You will be responsible for overseeing the packaging operations within our state-of-the-art facility, ensuring that all processes are conducted in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and internal standards. Your role will involve leading a dedicated team, managing sophisticated packaging machinery, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet production targets while maintaining the highest levels of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost reductions.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Engineering departments to drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze performance metrics and generate reports on packaging operations.
- Supervise, train, and mentor packaging operators and technicians.
- Develop and manage work schedules to ensure efficient operation and coverage.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of packaging machinery and equipment.
- Ensure adherence to cGMP guidelines and internal SOPs during all packaging processes.
- Monitor packaging lines to address operational issues and optimize efficiency.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct safety training and emergency drills.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and their application in packaging operations.
- Proficiency with various types of packaging machinery and equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
