Role Overview: As a Maintenance Manager, you will ensure the safety and proper functioning of their factory's machinery and equipment. You will continuously improve technical facilities and manage maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure production safety and machinery functionality.
- Develop and implement improvement measures for equipment.
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance work and contracts.
- Assess and optimise maintenance requirements and intervals.
- Analyse down times and implement corrective actions.
- Manage troubleshooting processes.
- Order and manage spare parts within budget.
- Lead local projects for equipment procurement and development.
- Supervise external maintenance suppliers.
- Prepare and monitor maintenance budgets.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation of equipment.
- Lead and develop maintenance staff.
- Support hiring and selection of new employees.
- Responsible for work safety (fire protection, etc.).
- Member of the HACCP team.
Qualifications:
- Technical education at HBO level or degree in engineering.
- Several years of experience in technical maintenance, preferably in the food industry.
- Planning and organising skills.
- Quality conscious, solution-oriented, and flexible.
- Must speak English and Dutch
- Valid work permit.
