Engineering & Maintenance Manager
Columbus, Ohio (Relocation Available)
Summary:
A global leading food manufacturer who specializes in bakery products is looking to bring on a new Engineering & Maintenance Manager to support their Columbus site. This is an immediate hire, full time opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Lead maintenance staff in personnel safety, adhering to OSHA and NFPA regulations.
- Oversee team member recruitment, development, and performance, including defining training needs and managing technician staff time and attendance.
- Prioritize maintenance tasks by guiding supervisors and technicians on preventative and emergent work for production equipment.
- Manage CMMS maintenance system, scheduling preventative maintenance and emergent work, and tracking machine downtime and spare parts inventory.
- Assist Operations management in achieving P&L goals, safety standards, and customer service benchmarks, and collaborate on capital projects and process improvements with CI and process engineering teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 5+ years of maintenance/engineering management experience in the food/bev space
- Knowledge of OSHA and NFPA requirements
- Understanding of food safety practices in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
