Position Overview:
As a Logistics Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods through our supply chain. From coordinating transportation and warehousing to optimising distribution networks, your expertise will be crucial in meeting customer expectations and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement effective logistics strategies.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and carriers.
- Optimise inventory levels to meet demand while minimising holding costs.
- Implement best practices to improve logistics efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Analyse logistics data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics management within the FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of global logistics trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
