The main categories for indirect purchasing would include Energy, CAPEX, Logistics, and IT. As a Lead Buyer, you will be responsible for 1 direct report.
Your tasks:
- Conduct future-oriented risk and needs analyses.
- Design and implement a long-term procurement strategy in coordination with business units.
- Continuous supplier development and modern contract systems.
- Strategic supplier comparisons, selection processes, and evaluations.
- Tailored price, target, and contract negotiations.
- Efficient project management and advancement of innovative procurement methods.
- Global trend observation and promotion of process-oriented purchasing controlling.
Your profile:
- Degree in economics or logistics with relevant professional experience.
- 3-5 years of relevant procurement experience
- Skilled negotiator with persuasive communication abilities.
- Keen analytical eye for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, negotiation tactics, and supplier evaluation.
- Proficiency in German and English for navigating the international business environment.
