Title: Head of Procurement (m/f/d)
Introduction:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our client as their new Head of Procurement. Our client is a leading machinery manufacturing company based in Baden-Wรผrttemberg, Germany.
Role Summary:
As the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for managing direct procurement activities while also overseeing site procurement operations. You'll lead your team with enthusiasm and expertise by providing guidance on Procurement strategies that drive cost savings across all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Leading a 4-person procurement team
- Managing both site-level and direct level purchasing processes
- Developing effective supplier relationships through negotiations for optimal pricing terms.
- Report into the Head of Operations & Global Head of Procurement
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Other qualifications include but not limited to;
-Bachelor's degree (or higher) related field such as Business Administration/Supply Chain Management/Economics/Engineering etc.
-Proven track record developing successful strategic sourcing initiatives
-Experience in Direct Purchasing - raw materials & metals
-Preferably Management experience, not essential
