A leading food manufacturer is looking to add an Engineering Project Manager to their team in the Greater Memphis, TN area. In this role, you'll be managing & executing complex & multi-faceted projects.
Responsibilities:
- Direct multiple concurrent projects ensuring compliance with budgeted goals & funding
- Develop & mentor engineering & facilities associates in all facets of project management & engineering practices
- Provide expert consultation in conceptual design, development & implementation of manufacturing process quality & cost effective improvements
- Ensure compliance with engineering related federal, state & local regulatory standards & directives
- Identify technological alternatives and emerging advances related to the company's manufacturing processes & facilities
- Oversee utility management to insure energy effectiveness, requirement compliance & identification of energy reduction opportunities
- Interface & negotiate with outside vendors & equipment manufacturers to obtain best value services & goods
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical is preferred
- Over 10 - 13 years experience managing groups that provide diverse technical support.
- Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
- American Meat Institute (AMI) guidelines for sanitary designs
