We are working with a global leader in the aerospace industry who are committed to innovation and growth. They are seeking a Director of Supply Chain planning to help their planning team take the next step in their development and help drive business growth to new heights.
As the Director of Supply Chain Planning you will play a crucial role in ensuring the planning function is optimised to ensure initiatives in production, warehousing and customer satisfaction are seemless. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for demand forecasting, inventory management production scheduling and distribution activities as well as developing your own team.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize the end-to-end supply chain process, including inventory management, demand forecasting, production planning, and distribution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies in line with business goals and objectives.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Monitor KPI performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
