Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Demand Planning Manager to join a strong team within chemical manufacturing facility located in Schaumberg, Illinois. The right candidate will have extensive experience in planning and forecasting material demand within the manufacturing industry.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher
PICS and ISM certification
5 years of relevant experience within a manufacturing environment
Ability to travel up to 20%
SAP experience is a MUST
Skills:
Develop strong partnerships with key internal customers including Operations, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and Finance
Proficient with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) techniques that help align sales forecasts with supply chain operations plans.
Must possess strong analytical skills as well as an ability to formulate accurate predictions about future market trends based on current data inputs.
Ability to forecast stock keeping unit (SKU) levels by using historical transactional data along with statistical models which helps companies make informed decisions around inventory management.
