As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and configuration of PLC/HMI codes, ensuring the reliable operation of manufacturing processes. Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting our biologics manufacturing operations, working alongside cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, and driving continuous improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
๐ง Develop and configure PLC/HMI codes, S88 batch recipe, and historian data for reliable operation of manufacturing processes
๐ง Troubleshoot issues and provide frontline support for Rockwell Automation systems
๐ง Develop data analytics tools and reports, driving appropriate GMP change control and deviation
๐ง Lead projects, represent the automation group in process meetings, and collaborate with various departments
Basic Requirements:
๐ B.S. or M.S. in Engineering (Chemical, Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering)
๐ Minimum 3 years of experience with Rockwell Automation Systems, OSI PI Historian, MS SQL database/reporting, and data analytics tools
๐ Strong written and verbal communication skills, curiosity to learn new technology, and strong leadership skills
Additional Skills:
๐ Minimum 2 years of industrial experience in the automation field
๐ Coach and mentor frontline automation engineers
๐ Support scope development for capital projects, and ensure operational automation control systems are implemented
