Vice President of Laboratory Operations

The Vice President of Laboratory Operations will oversee all laboratory functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while driving operational excellence and innovation. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in laboratory management, clinical operations, R&D, and has a strong background in and the ability to foster collaboration across teams.
The Vice President of Laboratory Operations will:
- Develop and implement the strategic vision for lab operations aligned with company goals.
- Lead and mentor lab managers and staff to promote a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Oversee day-to-day lab operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and safety.
- Optimize workflows and processes to enhance throughput and reduce costs.
- Ensure all laboratory practices comply with relevant regulations (e.g., GLP, GMP) and industry standards.
- Oversee audits and inspections, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the lab.
- Lead initiatives to adopt new technologies that enhance laboratory capabilities.
The Vice President of Laboratory Operations has the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related fields (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 10+ years of operational leadership experienced across multiple department areas.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
