Company Summary:
A global leader in consumer goods manufacturing is looking for their next Supply Planning Manager to lead a team of skilled Supply Planners and serve as a leader for the overall supply and inventory plans for mid-term and strategic planning. This role will oversee the supply-side of new product launches and S&OP reports, and be responsible for identifying and creating solutions to any problems as they arise within the Supply Chain. This position has the ability to grow and develop within the company.
The Supply Planning Manager will be responsible for:
- Build dynamic capacity and supply planning models and strategies (18-24 months forecast cycles) to support manufacturing capacities, product-specific requirements, and solutions to supply chain resolutions.
- Oversee the supply-side of new product development and launches my collaborating with NPI, Sales, Sourcing and Operations.
- Managing 2,000+ SKUs with a team of 5 direct reports
- Being a key partner to continuous improvement for the S&OP planning process
- Supporting product life cycle transition process to adjust to customer requirements
- Driving competitive KPIs while mentoring and coaching a team of skilled supply planners/analysts
The Supply Planning Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, 7+ years of proven experience in Supply Chain, Production, Planning
- Knowledge and experience in SAP, IBP and/or additional MRP/ERP systems inventory control
- CPG or chemicals background preferred
- Exposure and understanding of global supply chain dynamics and considerations
- Experience in a planning leadership position with decision making and technical comprehension
- High-level experience with data analysis and being able to interpret and make recommendations off of pulled data
