Responsibilities
- Lead , inspire and drive our people to be their best. Being a natural 'people person' you'll guide , influence and manage the Warehouse team to deliver results.
Responsible for ensuring proper staffing, training, performance management and career development to support all direct functional responsibilities.
Work with the Senior Management Team on site and key stakeholders to drive improvement on Health and Safety performances, Operations projects, Quality and Inventory control.
Managing all aspects of VMD / MHRA compliance through Good Distribution Practice (GDP), with managed Standard Operating Procedures, training and coaching, and works instructions. Maintaining and ensuring compliance at all times.
Responsible for leading & executing our Continuous Improvement activities across the DC, targeting the key areas of the business including Quality, Cost and Delivery. Embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the estate.
Support the Branch Manager with day to day running and working collaboratively to develop yearly budget and ensuring management of Direct and Indirect costs in full compliance with approved budget.
Reviewing operational performance through data/metric analysis, tactical reviewing and refining of departmental responsibilities to meet the needs of our network and customers.
Delivers specific recommendations on operational improvement programs, resulting in cost reduction and profit improvement and a greater customer experience
Proactively pull on experience - bring the outside in.
Understand and comply with job relevant, Companies Practice Standards at all times.
Understand the Companies standard operating procedures and attend training sessions as appropriate.
