Europe's market leading high-power charging network for electric vehicles is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager for Hardware to join their team based in Munich, Germany.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct RFx - Document RFP Scope & Timing, Write & Execute RFP, Evaluate RFP, Document Suppliers for Negotiations
- Negotiate and execute highly demanding contracts with suppliers in collaboration with our functional, technical, finance, and legal departments.
- Support the Hardware Procurement and Category Sourcing function
- Support the development, implementation and execution of Hardware Category Strategy
- Monitor the supply market using benchmarks and category indices
- Manage Key Contract Items and Monitor Contract Metrics and Develop Contract corrective actions
- Coordinate identified improvement opportunities, risk/mitigation strategies and develop action plans
- Develop and maintain trusted and collaborative relationships with business partners while evaluating and improving supplier's performance KPIs
- Support the development savings plans and track and report actual delivery against target
- Networking with all departments to ensure early involvement of procurement and alignment with different stakeholders
- Develop and implement cross functional procurement tasks such as: procurement processes& tools, contract management, savings & efficiency measurement, etc.
- Operational procurement - process procurement requests into purchase orders
Skills Required:
- Degree in Business administration, Supply Chain, Engineering background or comparable
- 5 - 7 years experience in strategic and operational procurement, ideally in Hardware, Electronics, Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- Excellent negotiation skills

- Ability to work under pressure
- Fluent in German and English
- Advanced MS office skills
- Oral and written communication skills to formulate strategies in a complex business environment
