Job Title: Purchasing Manager
Company Profile: A rapidly growing global, family owned manufacturing company is looking for a Purchasing Manager to join their team. This company specializes in the design and production of high-pressure diaphragm compression systems for the industrial markets. This role is based in Warminster, PA.
The Purchasing Manager Will Be Responsible for the Following:
- Managing a team of buyers
- Creating, issuing and maintaining the purchase orders for all categories including raw materials, services, finished goods, etc.
- Measuring and monitoring supplier performance and supplier development
- Negotiating with vendors
- Working cross functionally with different departments
- Analyzing metrics and strategic supply chain to drive cost savings and improvements
- Ensuring orders and on time delivery
The Purchasing Manager Should Have the Following Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience in supply chain, materials planning, purchasing, logistics within manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field
- Leadership experience directly managing a team, training, hiring and evaluating
- ERP software experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
- Problem solving and decision making skills
