A Leading global medical device company focusing on cardio is seeking an Professional Services Strategic Buyer, based in Berlin, Germany. The company are going through changes at the moment to expand and improve the procurement function. The company currently has a presence in over 100 countries and employs over 9'000 professionals and are still looking to expand.
The Role -
Global responsibility for strategic procurement activities for the categories HR, Consultancy, Finance, Legal.
Manage the local buyers and develop and implement the purchasing strategies as well as cost reduction projects.
Manage the purchasing processes with negotiations and conclusion of global framework agreements.
Desired skills/ experience -
Experience in strategic corporate purchasing, ideally in the category mentioned.
Several years of experience in strategic purchasing for indirect material.
Strong communication skills and very good presentation techniques.
Understanding of the Purchasing processes and methods as well as in negotiation and moderation.
Fluent in both English and German.
