Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide Incident Command and lead emergency response efforts during non-business hours.
- Troubleshoot process and mechanical systems.
- Provide training and daily guidance to chemical operators and mechanics during off-hours.
- Assist with maintaining and updating unit operating procedures.
- Communicate with plant management on the status of EHS, operations, security, and logistics during off-hours.
- Focus on continuous improvement and process enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years of production experience in manufacturing
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a supervisor.
- Strong knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures.
