Responsibilities
- Report to the CPO of the Business Unit
- Represent Purchasing in cross functional projects
- Manage Pre-Sourcing meeting, Manage Deep Dive meetings, Manage BOM change meeting
- Manage all projects within Purchasing
- Project liaison to the company's Corporate PMO office
- Purchasing assistant reports to this role
- Oversees the purchasing targets of the projects and ensures that these are completed on time and within budget.
- Responsible for right Purchasing reporting: all BOM's, OK2Tool, Spending file, Action & Decision tracker and processes to keep these up-to-date
Skills and Experience:
- Degree in engineering, purchasing or business
- Experience in project management
- Experience in Purchasing in the automotive industry
- Work well under pressure and able to meet deadlines
- Highly organized and able to work independently
