About: A leading defense company is seeking a qualified and experienced Industrial Engineer to join their team as a Manufacturing Supervisor. In this role, you lead a team of experienced manufacturing professionals and drive continuous improvement within their state-of-the-art facility.
The Manufacturing Supervisor will have the following responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate manufacturing records and statistics
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Coordinate shipping requirements
- Train and mentor manufacturing personnel
- Oversee facility machinery inspections
- Enforce safety measures to ensure processes are completed safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with department leaders
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives
The Manufacturing Supervisor will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally within aerospace or semiconductor industries
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Six Sigma and LEAN manufacturing certifications are a plus
