Salary: $90,000-105,000
Location: New York, NY or Greater Trenton Area

Summary: A leading global Cosmetics company is looking for a Indirect Procurement Manager to direct results-driven strategy for cost effective and high quality procurement. - Lead category partition and develop new strategies for procurement of all materials needed for the company's IT, Digital, and Marketing services using an annual spend of around $50 million.
- Lead RFX, negotiation efforts and earning new business with suppliers.
- Increase yearly cost savings and implement long term plans for improved cost effectiveness.
- Launch and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and support these partnerships throughout various processes.
- Measure and improve the effectiveness of the company's procurement and cost efficiency using KPI's.
- Monitor primary feed stock's history and forecast future cost trends and implementing alterations accordingly.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on effective procurement processes and company projects.

- Knowledge and experience in procurement category management and supply chain functions, including cost-related and supplier agreement processes.
- Understanding of the cosmetic industry and the commodity markets involved in the company's indirect procurement, including business and market insights.
- 5-7 years of experience in a procurement role (preferably in the cosmetics or consumer goods industry).
- 3+ years of experience in a procurement tool space (SAP, Ariba, etc) at an advanced level (procurement certificates preferred).
- At least a 4-year academic degree (MBA would strengthen candidacy).
- Ability to utilize IT forecasting and scheduling systems: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Strong analytical and communication skills- ability to collaborate and build partnerships.
