I am currently working with a rapidly growing medical device company, based in Zurich in their search for a Head of Supply Chain Operations.
Leading the supply chain team, you will be responsible for all global supply chain operations, ensuring a constant supply of products in a period of rapid growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a growing supply chain team
- Manage the Global Supply Chain Operations from purchasing to distribution and more
- Lead the production of instruments, consumable and spare parts
- Ensure the consistency and quality of data in the ERP system
- Establish growth models, analyse forecasts
- Decision making to optimize inventory levels, order and batch sizes and production processes
- Actively participate in managing the growth of the company
- Lead the continuous improvement process, developing and implementing plans and projects
- Lease with different departments to achieve overall business goals
Ideal Profile:
- University degree
- Proactive attitude with an ambition to grow the business
- Knowledge of import and export procedures into Switzerland
- Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement projects
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, MS Dynamics, Odoo
- Analytical mind
- Experience in a manufacturing organisation serving international customers
