Title: Global Supply Manager- ADAS
Company Summary: A fast growing, luxury electric American automotive company is looking for a Global Supply Manager for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This position is located in the San Francisco Bay Area. They are looking for a strong candidate who is strategic, innovative and has a vision to power the future in sustainable, revolutionary ways.
The Global Supply Manager will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with all teams including Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and Supplier Quality to deliver world class products on time and cost-effectively
- Creating and analyzing RFQs, review and clarify quotations from suppliers and develop sound sourcing and business recommendations to balance cost, quality, lead time and technical considerations
- Being a key player in new product introduction (NPI) to production
- Maintaining overall supplier relationships and act as point of contact for all commercial issues, including internal report-outs summarizing sourcing status, parts availability, and cost status
- Following industry trends and developing global market analyses
- Negotiating all commercial terms and conditions with supplier for the procurement and delivery of materials, tools, equipment, and services with minimal support from Legal team
The Global Supply Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in technical, supply chain, engineering, or finance discipline; MBA is a plus
- Experience with ADAS, Infotainment, Telematics, Software and dealing with tier one automotive suppliers
- Ideally a background in the Electric Automotive space
- Understand quality principles, product development processes, able to show teamwork to resolve problems and a thought process to drive successful solutions
- Excellent analytic, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Passion for results, strategy, and hands on execution
- Proficient in Excel, Project, Power Point, Word, ERP systems (SAP or equivalent)
- Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational and program management capabilities
