This is an exciting new opportunity to join a market leader in the chemicals industry at their headquarters in Munich. You will be joining the diverse team as the Global S&OP Implementation Manager; a role which has a lot of responsibility and offers the environment to lead a major project, setting up a brand new Supply Chain tool in the Sales and Operations Planning space.
The Global S&OP Implementation Manager will be responsible for:
- Process improvement: For each process ensure availability of process documentation, responsibilities, KPIs, - technical tools, reporting, training material, meeting structure, organization changes
- Ensure input from development and sales for new products and/or product/customer changes
- Address and lead IT projects on relevant process gaps or efficiency improvement, especially forecast and S&OP software
- Continue development of forecasting methodology, taking into account scientific results and applying to relevant areas
- Establish and maintain comprehensive (cross-cultural) communication network within the organization
- Manage monthly flow of S&OP process and oversee task completion and information flows with all participants of different departments
- Assure data quality (homogeneity, time series, avoidance of human errors)
The Global S&OP Implementation Manager will bring with them:
- Good experience in S&OP and forecasting, ideally in a global environment
- Affinity for IT systems and a data driven mindset
- Ambition to succeed and the desire to work autonomously
- Studies in Supply Chain, Business Administration or equivalent
- Business fluent English
- Desire to work in an international environment with a diverse and global team
