Global Procurement Excellence Manager Opportunity- Remote working
A leading global chemical distribution company is looking for a new Global Procurement Excellence Manager to join their team. This is a German based company but operates in over 70 countries with over 17,000 employees. Responsibilities
- Work as a functional lead on the implementation procurement standards and processes globally
- Support both global and regional procurement teams in the gathering, cleansing and analysis of data relevant to procurement activities
- Develops customized solutions to pull data from existing systems and provide them in a useable form to Category Managers
- Work in a cross-functional role that will be involved in various areas of the global business
- Further develop procurement processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the procurement activities
- Work is close collaboration with procurement personnel from all regions to ensure and support implementation of the same procurement standards and processes globally
Skills and Experience
- Strong negotiating skills
- Understanding of P2P processes
- Project management experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Background in procurement consultancy
- Experience rolling out SAP across a global function
