Global Commodity Manager - Technical Components
This world leading innovative lighting company is looking for a Global Commodity Manager to take charge of technical components. In the previous year, this company produced 300 million EUR in sales with a worldwide presence in over 70 countries.
The Role:
- Create and implement commodity strategies
- Global purchasing of technical components
- Perform SRM and develop new suppliers
- Manage global projects to achieve continuous process improvement within materials procurement and logistics
Skills and Experience Required
- Business or engineering/technical Degree or similar qualification
- Professional experience in a purchasing organisation and applying purchasing processes
- Fluent in German and English
- Ability to negotiate and communicate with upper management and high level suppliers
- Demonstrate leadership skills on a functional level
We are looking for someone who is driven by results and has a proven record in delivery. This individual must be very action-driven who are not only able to drive the team but also be able to manage the stakeholders globally.
You must be a keen learner and show a good drive for positive results. This role would suit someone with experience working in a matrix organisation and cross functions.
