The IT Director of Purchasing will be responsible for:
- Leading and implementing procurement strategies for North America, with a potential for a Global role in the future
- Procuring core IT products and services, cloud, telematics, diagnostics, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS)
- Negotiations, strategic supply management, vendor relations, and suppler performance management
- Implementing cost management goals and continuous improvement actions
- Managing and coaching a team of Assistant Directors and Commodity Managers
The IT Director of Purchasing should have the following qualifications:
- At least 10 years of Purchasing experience with target commodities
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field
- Master's degree preferred, MBA is a plus
- Experience with transportation, heavy equipment, or automotive industry is a plus
- Ability to collaborate and interact with all levels of management, enthusiastic, thrives in fast-paced environments
