DSJ Global is currently partnered with a Fortune 500 company who are seeking a Controls Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team who are leading the Chemical Industry. As the Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Utilizing electrical and computer skills to program PLC and Servo controls for production equipment, ensuring that it is running in the most efficient manner possible
- Troubleshoot any issues related to PLC/Servo/HMI and make the necessary repairs
- Assist in developing electrical and PLC specifications for new equipment and processes
- Ensure that equipment is properly designed, laid out and installed according to machine, and plant specifications
- Conduct equipment testing (FAT/PAT) to ensure that it continues to meet job specifications
- Review and ensure optimal process design and continuous improvement in a variety of production processes
The Controls Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering
- 2-3 years controls engineering experience with electronic and PLC based applications
- 1+ years working with Rockwell in plant/manufacturing facilities
- Demonstrated skill in troubleshooting electronic hardware and software related to process control systems or data historian

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in configuration and troubleshooting of Emerson DeltaV and Rockwell PLC's
- Prior experience in batch programming
