Job Title: Category Manager
Company Profile: A global leader in the manufacturing of elevators, escalators and related materials are looking for a Category Manager for Mechanics and Electrical commodities. This role is based in Hanover, PA and they are flexible with a hybrid work schedule.
The Category Manager Will Be Responsible for the Following:
- Driving strategy to align with business needs- short term and long term to deliver cost savings and efficiency
- Working cross functionally with different departments and global teams
- Identifying new suppliers and establishing relations with existing ones
- Mitigating risk and driving negotiations
The Category Manager Should Have the Following Qualifications:
- 5 year minimum experience with procurement in Heavy Manufacturing industry
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field
- International Global Sourcing experience
- Experience and knowledge of mechanical components such as carbon, steel, metals, machining and/ or electrical components such as cables, harness, pcbs, etc.
