Associate Director, Demand Planning required for Global CPG

A Global CPG firm is looking for a Associate Director, Demand Planning to lead transformation and drive change across their Global Demand Planning Function.
The Associate Director, Demand Planning will play a pivotal part in the company's Supply Chain activities in order to meet the Sales and Customer Service metrics for the company's forecast of demand operations. Through a strategic approach, the Demand Planning Manager will ensure there is agreement between all necessary parties. The individual will be expected to provide the company with detailed planning input in order to sustain the entire S&OP Planning process.
The Associate Director, Demand Planning will have the following responsibilities:
- Generate detailed forecast to reflect all necessary inputs and meetings
- Drive strategic change through creating synergy between Demand, Supply and Customer teams
- Facilitate monthly IBP Meetings with Global stakeholders
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer service to recognize noteworthy variances and then adjust the forecast accordingly
- Encourage streamlined communication between Customer Demand and Supply Teams
- Develop, train and mentor direct reports
- Obtain input across all necessary SKUs
- Regularly update production planning team with accurate item-level changes in the forecast
- Communicate updated Long-Term Plan assumptions to all cross-functional counterparts
The ideal Associate Director, Demand Planning candidate will have the following skill set:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or technology-related field from an accredited college or university is required; MBA preferred
- 10+ years Supply Chain, Forecasting, Customer Service or Operations experience
- 5+ Years in a Planning/Forecasting leadership role
- CPG/FMCG, Food/Bev or equivalent high-SKU Count industry experience required
- Proven leadership abilities
- Must be extremely detail-oriented and have exemplar analytical skills
- Strong oral and written communication abilities
- Proven experience driving change and transformation across the Supply Chain
